The short version
RacquetVenues is a directory that funnels visitors to network sites (TennisVenues, PickleballVenues, etc.). The parent site itself collects very little: standard web-server logs and anonymous analytics. We don't sell your data, and we only share it where it's needed to run the service or required by law.
Who we are
"RacquetVenues", "we", "us" and "our" refer to SportLogic Pty Ltd (ABN 79 119 329 752), the Australian company that builds and runs the RacquetVenues network. Our registered address is PO Box 423, Epping NSW 1710. Contact us at support@sportlogic.com.au.
What we collect
On the RacquetVenues parent site, we collect:
- Technical information — IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages you visit, via standard server logs and analytics.
- Cookies — see "Cookies and analytics" below.
The parent site does not have user accounts, contact forms, or payment processing. If you create an account or book a court on a network site, that site's terms cover the additional information collected there (name, email, booking details, etc.).
How we use it
We use the information above to:
- Operate and maintain the site.
- Understand how visitors find and use us, so we can improve.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
- Comply with legal obligations.
Cookies and analytics
The RacquetVenues parent site does not set cookies or use third-party analytics or advertising trackers. We load Google Fonts from Google's servers to render typography — that sends a standard HTTP request (including your IP) to Google, but does not set tracking cookies. If we add analytics or any other tracker in future, we'll update this page before the change goes live.
Who we share it with
We share information only with:
- Service providers we use to run the site (hosting, CDN, analytics, email) — each bound by their own data-protection obligations.
- Law enforcement or regulators where we are legally required to do so.
- Acquirers in the event of a business sale — subject to the same privacy commitments.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with advertisers.
Where your information is stored
Data is processed in Australia and/or in data centres operated by our service providers. Where information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it receives a comparable standard of protection.
How long we keep it
Server logs are retained for up to 12 months and then deleted or anonymised. Specific retention periods for account/booking data on network sites are described in those sites' terms.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy.
- Correct information that's wrong or out of date.
- Ask us to delete your information, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Make a privacy complaint.
Contact support@sportlogic.com.au to exercise any of these. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Children
The RacquetVenues parent site is not directed at children under 13. Network sites that offer bookings generally require account holders to be 18 or older, or to have parental consent — see each site's terms.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access and disclosure. No online service is ever perfectly secure; we can't guarantee absolute security.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
